Tim Bird has served as Director of the Men of Note for three years and previously served as Assistant Director and Bass Section Leader, along with various roles on the chorus Board of Directors. As a quartet singer, Tim earned a SW District championship in 2011 as Baritone of Dexter’s Alibi.
Apart from his many musical pursuits, Tim is a professional photographer specializing in fine art portraiture. He also owns a digital media production company producing video and film for corporate communication and broadcast television. He occasionally takes on audio recording projects having produced the Men of Note's Christmas CD in 2007 and producing learning tracks on which he sings all four vocal parts. He has written several A Cappella arrangements, a few of which have been sung by the men of Note.
When time and weather permit, Tim enjoys golf, travel and never misses an opportunity to visit the Rocky Mountains. One of his greatest joys is caring for his two daughters. The other joy in his life is his fiancé Dawn... a high school classmate whom he met for the first time at their 30th reunion last year. They've been inseparable ever since and will be married in the summer of 2017.
